Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support providers and deliver exceptional patient care. You will welcome patients, document histories, assist with exams, and coordinate care to ensure a positive healthcare experience.

The role requires completion of an MA program or equivalent, with 0–1 year clinical experience preferred. Day shift, full-time, on-site in Rochester Hills, MI with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and completion of an MA program or externship.
• MA certification or eligibility in Michigan preferred.
• EMT or Paramedic credentials acceptable per ad.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect and document patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care and act as liaison between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
