Trinity Health IHA Medical Group seeks a compassionate Medical Assistant to support providers in delivering patient care. You will work directly with patients, assist with clinical procedures, coordinate care, and help create a positive healthcare experience.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, taking histories, assisting with exams, medications, and testing, and educating patients and families. Day shifts with full-time benefits across Southeast Michigan.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year clinical experience preferred; if MA program/externship not completed, 2+ years of clinical support.
• Credential options CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA, CMAC are acceptable.
• Valid CPR certification and active state license where applicable.

Responsabilités

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect and document patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care and liaise between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement and disease management programs.
