Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support providers in delivering exceptional patient care. You will work directly with patients, assist with clinical procedures, support care coordination, and help create a positive healthcare experience every day.

Ideal candidates will have MA education/externships and 0-1 year clinical experience, with CPR certification. The role includes coordinating care, administering medications, and contributing to quality

Qualifications

• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 0-1 year of clinical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Maintains current MA Re-Certification CEUs if credentialed.
• MA-Credentialed I options: CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA, CMAC.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect and document patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care and serve as a liaison between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
