Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support providers in delivering high-quality patient care. You will work directly with patients, assist with clinical procedures, and help coordinate care to ensure a positive healthcare experience.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or MA training and relevant credentialing, plus 0–1 year of clinical experience or 2+ years in a community clinic if MA program is not completed.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year previous clinical experience or equivalent preferred.
• In absence of MA program/externship/internship, 2+ years clinical support experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect and document patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Coordinate care and serve as a liaison between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
