Primary Health Medical Group is hiring a Medical Office Receptionist to be the friendly first point of contact for patients in Boise. You will greet visitors, schedule appointments, collect data, and answer calls with a calm, professional demeanor.

Ideal candidates bring strong customer service skills, basic healthcare exposure, and comfort with electronic health records. The position offers starting pay of $17.25 per hour and benefits as part of a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service in healthcare preferred; EHR experience a plus.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while remaining professional.

Responsibilities

• Have the highest quality customer service on the phone and in person.
• Greet patients and visitors. Determine their needs and direct them appropriately.
• Perform data entry of demographic and insurance information.
• Schedule and register patients, including accurately collecting required data.
• Receive, answer, and respond to telephone calls from patients and their representatives.
• Scan and fax patient information.
• Answer questions and give information directly or on the telephone within the scope of practice. Refer all other questions to the specified departments as needed.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and past balances as indicated on the insurance card or as documented by billing staff. Update new insurance information as received.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
