Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Field Security Shift Supervisor to lead security services in a healthcare facility for a high-profile client in Myrtle Beach, SC. You will supervise officers, coordinate training, and ensure compliance with hospital policies, Joint Commission standards, EMTALA, CMS requirements, and site procedures.

This role emphasizes patient-centered, trauma-informed care, collaboration with hospital leadership and the Security Account Manager, and delivering professional security

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass state-required training or qualifications for licensing.
• Must be able to pass a licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle.
• Post offer, complete training on less lethal methodologies.
• One or more of: active military, Auxiliary Police, security experience, or higher education.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and on-site training for security officers on shift.
• Conduct shift roll-call and site visits; document officer performance and concerns.
• Ensure professional appearance, hygiene, and uniform compliance.
• Maintain updated Post Order manuals and training materials.
• Provide on-the-job training and review responsibilities and protocols.
• Handle shift call-offs and coordinate post coverage while minimizing overtime.
• Stand post during calls or emergencies and manage overtime implications.
• Initiate investigations related to incidents and gather information.
• Prepare incident reports and support security surveys and post orders.
• Recommend personnel actions and respond to client requests.
