Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Supervisor to lead security services at a healthcare facility on Johns Island, SC. You will oversee staffing, training, and day-to-day operations, ensuring patient-centered, trauma-informed security aligned with policies and standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and on-site training for security officers.
• Conduct shift roll-call and site visits and address concerns.
• Ensure professional appearance and hygiene; enforce uniforms.
• Verify Post Order manuals and training materials are up-to-date.
• Provide on-the-job training for new officers; review responsibilities and protocols.
• Handle shift call-offs and assist in post coverage with minimal overtime.
• Stand post during calls or emergencies; cover shifts if needed.
• Initiate investigations and gather information on incidents; use of force as needed.
• Prepare security surveys and post orders; assist with payroll and incident reports.
• Recommend personnel actions for subordinates; respond to client requests.
• Distribute updates and documents; collect signed acknowledgments.
• Make emergency notifications following site Post Orders.
• Provide direction to subordinates on duty performance; drive productivity improvements.
• Support updates to physical security surveys and post orders.
• Suggest disciplinary or commendation actions where appropriate.
• Complete daily activity, vehicle maintenance, and supervisor handovers.
