Job summary

Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Site Supervisor to lead daily security operations at a healthcare facility, coordinating clinical and security teams while ensuring patient-centered care and compliance with EMTALA, CMS, and Joint Commission standards. This role acts as the primary liaison between hospital leadership and security management.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass state-required training or licensing.
• Pass a state licensing test if driving company or client vehicles.
• Complete CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
• Two years supervisory experience in security or related fields.
• 18 years of age or older (21 if armed).
• Strong computer proficiency and scheduling/reporting skills.
• Ability to monitor surveillance and respond to alarms.
• Clear communication with patients, visitors and clinical staff.
• Customer service and patient-engagement excellence.
• Calm under crises with good decision-making.
• Operate radios, telephones, and security equipment.
• Mediating conflicts with tact and diplomacy.
• Document information accurately and report results.
• Commitment to patient-centered service and trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations and coordinate onsite training.
• Outline tasks and responsibilities for security staff and supervisors.
• Ensure Post Orders and SOPs are followed and kept up to date.
• Ensure First Aid/CPR/AED training compliance.
• Coordinate with client on-site investigations and root cause analysis.
• Conduct access control and visitor management audits.
• Create/update access clearances as needed.
• Complete daily site audits and monthly site reports in SharePoint.
• Plan and schedule training calendars with the National Training Manager.
• Provide information briefings and training sessions as requested.
• Maintain proficiency by reviewing policies for client locations.
• Identify improvement opportunities with cross-team collaboration.
• Maintain confidentiality of information and data.
• Review 40-hour on-the-job and skills testing results for new hires.
• Ensure safety orientation requirements are met at client locations.
• Conduct daily patrol reviews and quarterly door/badge checks.
• Coordinate staffing needs with the Security Account Manager and recruiters.
• Develop staff through coaching, counseling, and evaluations.
• Address employee grievances with appropriate support staff.
• Use WinTeam for scheduling and reporting.
