Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education is required.
• Eighteen months of CNA/CMA/PCA experience.
• One year of secretarial/office experience or six months of internal cross-training.
• BLS Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Answers unit telephone calls and facilitates transfers.
• Greets patients and visitors, provides directions and information.
• Coordinates with interprofessional team for patient care information exchange.
• Documents care and diagnostic measurements per policies and procedures.
• Supports bed management, physician calls, and unit workflows.
• Performs ADL assistance under supervision of a licensed nurse.
