Responsabilités

• Prepares and assists patient for transportation with clinical staff, ensuring Safe Patient and Family Centered care.
• Picks up and delivers patient equipment and supplies, including equipment for repair or routine maintenance checks.
• Identifies broken and damaged equipment and reports per procedure.
• Picks up contaminated items from patient care areas and transports to Central Supply for decontamination.
• Delivers and picks up specimens, cultures and blood samples (STAT and routine).
• Provides 1:1 observation and patient care duties as assigned under unit nursing staff.
• Documents any patient care provided.
• Addresses customer concerns and needs, following through to resolution.
• Identifies and reports safety concerns affecting patients, visitors, or staff.
