Job summary

Avera Creighton Hospital is seeking a Transportation Associate (PRN) to provide safe patient transport to medical appointments. You will assist passengers in and out of the vehicle, operate wheelchair lifts when needed, and maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities include documenting trips, ensuring safety compliance, and working with a multidisciplinary team to support patients and families.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and insurable by the hospital carrier.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, courteous transport to passengers to and from appointments.
• Assist and escort passengers in and out of the vehicle as needed.
• Operate wheelchair lift and secure wheelchairs for transport.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic maintenance checks.
• Complete required trip records and report safety concerns promptly.
