Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Technician in Milton, FL. The role supports nursing staff, assists with daily living activities, and helps maintain a safe patient environment. You will collect vital signs, assist with meals and mobility, and report findings to the RN/LPN/LVN.

Preferred candidates are enrolled in a nursing program or have CNA experience, with BCLS within 90 days of hire. This is a part-time position requiring daytime shifts.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a nursing program.
• BCLS within 90 days of hire required.
• CNA certification preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing staff in delivering care and maintains a safe, organized environment.
• Collects and records vital signs, intake/output, and other data for reporting to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Assist with meals, feeding, bathing, grooming, linen changes and mobility tasks.
• Support patient positioning, ambulation, and use of mobility aids.
• Collect urine/stool samples and perform finger-stick blood glucose monitoring.
• Communicate patient information clearly to the care team and maintain confidentiality.
• Adhere to infection control and PPE protocols; participate in safety initiatives.
• Maintain regular attendance and compliance with all policies.
