Pensacola, FL-based Baptist Health Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician II to support nursing staff and coordinate patient care. This on-site role involves assisting with ambulation, vital signs, hygiene, and basic clerical duties to keep the unit running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months in a healthcare setting, with strong communication, basic medical terminology knowledge, and comfort with electronic health records.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 6 months experience in a healthcare-related field or active nursing program preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with ambulating and mobilization of patients; record vital signs (BP, temp, pulse, respirations, SpO2).
• Assist with hygiene including oral care, bathing, and dressing.
• Assist with bedpans, toileting, catheter care, and turning bedridden patients.
• Assure proper documentation and data entry; use electronic health records.
• Receive calls, relay information, and support department reception.
• Maintain supplies and inventory; assist with meals, I&O, and light cleaning.
