Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team in Danville, PA. The role supports nursing staff, assists with ADLs, collects vitals, and participates in point-of-care testing within an ACE-model framework that enhances career growth and autonomy on the unit.

Eligible candidates may receive a $1500 sign-on bonus, up to $40,000 in nursing education assistance, and shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• PCT role requires reliability and strong teamwork.
• Must be able to meet orientation and long-term full-time scheduling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living including hygiene, mobility, and meals.
• Take and document vital signs and daily weights; perform point-of-care tasks.
• Support nursing staff by performing delegated duties under RN supervision.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including dressing changes and equipment checks.
• Coordinate care activities and communicate clearly with the care team.
