UPMC Northwest seeks a dedicated Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician for the 3 South Medical Oncology Team. This full-time role requires rotating shifts, including every other weekend and holiday, to support patient care and comfort across the unit.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs and procedures, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with RNs and other care team members to ensure safety and quality care for oncology patients.

Qualifications

• Assist with patient procedures and activities of daily living.
• Report changes in patient status to the RN.

Responsabilités

• Provides patient care including assisting with procedures and ADLs.
• Assists with physical, respiratory and cardiopulmonary therapies.
• Follows nursing core responsibilities and reports equipment issues.
• Communicates effectively with the health care team and patients.
• Maintains safety and adheres to hospital policies and procedures.
• Documents in the medical record according to established procedures.
