Job summary

Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support neuroscience patients on the day shift. You’ll assist with patient movement, daily living activities, and document changes for nursing staff while maintaining clean, orderly rooms and equipment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, and BLS within 30 days of hire. Open availability is preferred, with full-time employment in Pensacola, FL.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• BLS Provider within 1 month (30 days) of hire date; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• 1-3 years patient care tech experience in a hospital setting; open availability.

Responsibilities

• Aids with movement and placement of patients.
• Assists patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
• Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Documents necessary records.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
