Job summary

Baystate Noble Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support Registered Nurse coordination on the unit. You will perform direct patient care, hygiene, mobility support and monitor vital signs, with multi-skills for phlebotomy and EKG duties.

You will help manage equipment and assist in all unit procedures under RN supervision. The role requires at least one year of patient care experience, with strong communication skills in English and the ability to work in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides age-appropriate patient care and monitors basic vital signs.
• Documents weights/heights and reports deviations in patient conditions to RN.
• Assists with treatments and procedures and ensures patient safety.
• Marks and labels specimens and manages routine clinical tasks per policy.
• Performs Point of Care testing and assists with ancillary services as directed.
• Communicates effectively with the team and patients and participates in safety procedures.
