Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Inpatient General Medical/Surgical Unit at Elmhurst Main Hospital Campus (155 E. Brush Hill Rd., Elmhurst, IL 60126).

This part-time role covers three 12-hour day shifts from 7am to 7pm, with every third weekend rotation. Under RN supervision, the tech provides essential patient care, supports comfort and safety, and completes required training, including CPR certification.

Position Highlights

Hourly Pay Range: $19.71 - $28.58 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Hours: 7am-7pm (three 12-hour shifts) with every 3rd weekend rotation and holiday track

What you will do

Education

Certification

Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association

Experience

Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum six months of previous patient care experience or equivalent or completion of one nursing clinical rotation

Successful completion of care Companion Course within six months of hire when course is required by the department.

Unique or Preferred Skills

Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, ability to prioritize, ability to receive and follow through on directions.
