Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the care team at Sauk Trails Clinic. This role performs clinical, technical, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations, including pre-visit prep, patient rooming, vital signs, test result follow-up, Epic in-basket support, and assisting with exams and procedures.

You will collaborate with registered nurses and providers to coordinate care, communicate with patients and families,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA registration or EMT licensure required.
• CPR/AED certification required; obtain within 4 months of hire.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with EMR systems preferred.
• Typing speed minimum 30 WPM with accuracy.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and infection control practices.
• Ability to travel between work sites and provide transportation.

Responsibilities

• Pre-visit prep and patient rooming; take vital signs as needed.
• Test result follow-up and Epic in-basket support; phone calls.
• Assist with exams and procedures; coordinate with RNs and providers.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate medical records documentation.
• Support outpatient administrative procedures and scheduling.
