Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English clearly.
• Basic computer literacy and medical terminology knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, timely communication to the RN about patient observations and changes.
• Maintain continuous observation of high-risk patients as assigned.
• Assist patients with daily living activities, mobility and meals.
• Take and record vital signs and measurements.
• Perform EKGs and POC tests and collect specimens for lab transport.
• Support treatments and procedures with patient preparation and equipment handling.
