Job summary

CHS Career Site is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to assist with activities of daily living, support patient care under RN/LPN supervision, and maintain a safe, clean care environment in a high‑acuity setting.

You will record vital signs, assist with meals, mobility, hygiene, urine/stool collection, and communicate patient information clearly to the care team while following infection control and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a safe, clean environment.
• Collects and records patient data, including vital signs and intake/output, reporting to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Supports patients with meals, hygiene, mobility, and use of mobility aids.
• Communicates patient information effectively to the care team.
• Maintains infection control and PPE protocols and supports performance improvement initiatives.
