CHS Career Site is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in a Tucson, AZ setting. The PCT assists with activities of daily living and maintains a clean, safe environment for patients and staff.

Ideal candidates have 0-2 years in acute care or are enrolled in a nursing program; BCLS within 90 days is required. CPCT/CNA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred.
• BCLS within 90 days of hire preferred or required
• CPCT or CNA certification preferred or pursued

Responsabilités

• Assist nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Record and report vital signs, height, weight, oxygen saturation, intake/output, and calories to RN/LPN.
• Support patients with meals, feeding, bathing, oral care, grooming, linen changes, and hygiene.
• Assist with patient positioning, ambulation, and mobility aids.
• Collect urine and stool samples and monitor blood glucose with finger sticks; report results to RN/LPN.
• Communicate patient information clearly to the care team and adhere to safety protocols.
• Maintain infection control standards and use PPE as required.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and risk management reporting.
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with policies and standards.
