Job summary

CHS Corporate in Naples, FL is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide patient-centered care under RN/LPN supervision. You will assist with activities of daily living, keep a safe, organized environment, and communicate clearly with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities include assisting nursing staff with basic care, recording vitals, supporting meals and hygiene, aiding mobility, and ensuring infection control.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred
• BCLS certification within 90 days of hire required
• CNA certification preferred or
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work collaboratively within a team

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Collects and records vital signs, intake/output, and other data, reporting to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Assists with meals, feeding, bathing, grooming, linen changes, and personal care.
• Aids patient positioning, mobility, and use of walkers/crutches/canes/wheelchairs.
• Collects samples and performs finger-stick blood glucose monitoring, reports results.
• Communicates patient information to the care team and adheres to PPE protocols.
• Maintains infection control practices and safety standards.
• Participates in performance improvement and risk management activities.
