Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care under RN/LPN supervision. The role focuses on activities of daily living, safety, and effective communication within the care team. You will collect data such as vital signs, assist with meals and hygiene, support mobility, and maintain a clean, organized environment while adhering to infection control standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or current enrollment in a nursing program.
• BCLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• CNA or CPCT certification preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and safety protocols.

Responsabilités

• Assist nursing staff with delegated patient care and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Record vital signs and other data, reporting to RN/LPN/LVNs as needed.
• Assist with meals, bathing, hygiene, and daily activities such as grooming.
• Aid mobility and positioning using walkers, canes, wheelchairs, and other assists.
• Support effective communication within the care team and maintain professionalism.
• Maintain infection control practices and proper PPE usage.
