Job summary

GBMC HealthCare is seeking a Nursing Support partner to assist with direct patient care under the supervision of a nurse and the Nurse Manager. You will support daily patient activities, monitor vital signs, and help maintain accurate nursing documentation across the unit.

The role requires a High School diploma, 6 months of direct patient care experience preferred, and Maryland CNA licensure with CPR certification. A collaborative, patient-centered environment is emphasized across teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months direct patient care experience preferred.
• Current registration as CNA I or CNA II with the Maryland Board of Nursing Examiners.

Responsibilities

• Provide care, comfort, and safety to assigned patients under direct nurse supervision.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and basic hygiene.
• Perform routine vital signs, monitoring, and simple tests as directed by a nurse.
• Record in electronic medical records and maintain a clean, stocked patient environment.
