Job summary

GBMC HealthCare is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Nursing Support team in Towson, MD. Under direct supervision, you will assist with direct and indirect patient care, support daily activities, and help maintain a safe and healing environment alongside registered nurses and unit leadership.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, Maryland CNA registration (I or II) and CPR.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months experience in direct patient care preferred.
• Current registration with Maryland Board of Nursing as CNA I or CNA II.
• Heart Saver (CPR) Certification

Responsibilities

• Provides for care, comfort, and safety of assigned patients under direct supervision of a nurse.
• Assists patients in activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Maintains infection control and safe patient handling.
• Performs delegated nursing care procedures as directed.
• Observes patients and reports changes to nursing staff.
• Documents in electronic medical records as trained.
