Job summary

GBMC HealthCare is seeking an Nursing Support role to assist with direct patient care under the supervision of a nurse. You will help with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, and use electronic medical records for documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of current experience in direct patient care; Med/Surg experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN/LPN with direct patient care under supervision.
• Provide activities of daily living support (bathing, toileting, feeding, etc.).
• Perform routine vital signs, I&O, weights, finger sticks; assist with specimen collection.
• Observe patients and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain clean and stocked patient rooms and assist with admissions/transfers.
• Utilize EMR for patient record keeping as trained.
• Participate in quality and safety activities as directed.
