Job summary

GBMC HealthCare seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to support registered nurses in providing high-quality patient care. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, and help maintain a clean, safe patient environment under the supervision of nursing staff.

The role requires high school diploma and CNA certification with MD Board registration; 6 months direct patient care experience is preferred. Expect collaborative teamwork and a focus on patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 6 months of direct patient care experience preferred.
• CNA I or CNA II certification with MD RN Board registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the nurse with direct and indirect patient care under supervision.
• Perform routine vital signs, weight, glucose checks, and specimen collection as directed.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient comfort measures.
• Document observations and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain clean, stocked patient rooms and supply areas.
