Job summary

Virtua Health in Marlton, NJ, is seeking a part-time Patient Care Technician to assist with activities of daily living under RN/LPN supervision. You will communicate with the healthcare team, patients, and families while maintaining high professional standards of ethics and patient care.

Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, grooming, vital signs, specimen collection if certified, and support for patient safety and education.

Qualifications

• Basic patient care skills and standards are required.
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, feeding, toileting, and mobility.
• Perform vital signs, phlebotomy and EKGs if certified as directed by RN/LPN.
• Provide patient education and safety information to patients and families.
• Support in orientation of new hires and participation in quality/improvement activities.
