Hackensack Meridian Health is hiring a Patient Care Technician to provide direct and indirect care under RN supervision in a hospital setting in New Jersey. You will support patient comfort, safety, and satisfaction, perform phlebotomy and EKG duties when qualified, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement the plan of care.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and completion of a CNA/MA/PCT program or equivalent background, with AHA BLS certification within 60

• Ability to learn quickly, work in a team, and deliver patient‑centered care.
• BLS certification within 60 days of start date.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient care and ensure safety and comfort for patients.
• Communicate with patients and nursing staff regarding status and care.
• Assist with observation, data collection, and routine tasks per RN guidance.
• Perform venipuncture, EKGs, and specimen handling when qualified.
• Support unit operations and participate in PI activities.
