Job summary

Virtua Health in Mount Holly, NJ is seeking an Ortho Stroke Unit support role to assist with daily living activities under RN/LPN supervision. This position emphasizes compassionate patient care and teamwork.

The role includes vital signs, basic care, possible phlebotomy and EKG duties if certified, and participation in performance improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives. Per diem, part-time schedule with on-site coverage.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of basic patient care skills and standards.
• Must have strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and plan of care.
• Communicate with healthcare team and patient family.
• Perform vital signs, point-of-care testing, bladder scanning, and Foley catheter care.
• May perform phlebotomy and EKGs if certified.
• Identify and communicate changes in patient status to RN/LPN.
