Job summary

The role requires a high school diploma and CNA certification or equivalent nursing coursework with clinical rotation, plus BLS-CPR eligibility.

Qualifications

• Requires certification/completion of one of the following: CNA, Medical Assistant, EMT, Military Corpsman/Medic, Nursing Aide Training Program or completion of foundations/ clinical nursing course with one clinical rotation.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, direct patient care in assigned unit with age-appropriate adjustments.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate updates to health care team.
• Care for patients per plans of care and hospital policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, stocked environment for patient needs.
• Record vital signs and other patient information per policy.
• Assist with specimens collection when needed.
• Attend mandatory trainings and adhere to safety policies.
