Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, or nursing school students with one semester of clinical completed.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

Performs basic nursing care activities under RN supervision, including vital signs and glucose checks.
Assists patients with personal care and activities of daily living.
Reports changes in condition to nursing staff.
Keeps patient rooms clean and orderly.
Manages unit workflow with the charge RN during busy periods.
