• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED, basic computer skills, excellent administrative, communication, and organizational skills.
• Minimum: basic math skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
• Desired: healthcare, retail, or customer service experience; knowledge of infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a safe, survey-ready healthcare environment in line with Joint Commission standards.
• Greet customers/patients in front area and assist with registration and scheduling.
• Handle front-desk tasks: patient intake, payments, insurance info, and EHR documentation.
• Manage waiting room flow using patient queue and kiosk systems and communicate wait times.
• Escort patients to exam rooms, record vital signs, and document in the EHR.
• Answer phones, relay messages, and perform daily patient callbacks as per policy.
• Prepare and ship packages/lab specimens; assist with off-site events as needed.
