Edward Elmhurst Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Antepartum Unit in Evanston, IL. The role is 32 hours per week with night shifts (2300-0730) and weekend rotation.

Responsibilities include assisting with vital signs, EKGs, bladder scans, Foley removal, IV care, and daily care activities while supporting discharge preparation and patient safety.

• Completion of an accredited CNA training course preferred.
• Completion of at least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical nursing preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Work under a RN supervision to deliver patient care on the Antepartum unit.
• Assist with vital signs (BP, etc.), 12-Lead EKG, bladder ultrasound, Foley catheter and IV adapter removal, sterile specimen collection.
• Assist with bathing, mobility, turning, hourly rounding, glucose checks, feeding, and discharge preparation.
• Support implementation of patient care plans and contribute to a safe, high-quality patient experience.
