Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Obtain BLS or HeartSaver First Aid within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists in direct patient care by providing basic physical care under RN direction.
• Supports activities of daily living and ensures timely bed changes.
• Transports patients and specimens per protocol and escorts for discharge.
• Performs routine phlebotomy where allowed and glucose monitoring where permitted.
• Records vital signs and intake/output and assists with exams and procedures.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment and adheres to infection control policies.
