Job summary

Ascension St John Jenks in Jenks, OK, is looking for a CNA to perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision. You will aid with patient movement, assist with personal care and daily living activities, and report changes to nursing staff while maintaining records.

The role is full-time, day shift in Medsurg. A high school diploma or equivalent or 1 year of relevant experience is required, with BLS within 1 month of hire.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider required within 1 month of hire date; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Additional Preferences

• CNA experience; ortho experience preferred
• Position is for 36 hours per week, Days may vary, some weekend shifts
