Job summary

Ascension St John Sapulpa in Sapulpa, OK is seeking a compassionate CNA to join the Medsurg team on a PRN day shift. You’ll perform basic patient care under supervision, assist with mobility and activities of daily living, and help keep rooms clean and equipment ready for use.

Reporting changes in patients’ physical, mental, and emotional conditions to the nursing staff, you’ll contribute to a supportive, patient-centered environment and build hands-on experience in a leading nonprofit health

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire (AHA or Red Cross accepted).
• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable experience required.
• Licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Additional Preferences

• Prefer 1 year of CNA experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
