Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Highlands in Sparta, TN is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide patient care during the night shift. You will support patients with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and report to nursing staff, contributing to their physical, emotional, and mental well-being within a compassionate care team.

Qualifications include BLS certification within 30 days of hire and preferred Nurse Aide experience.

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Aide preferred.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.


• Nurse Aide preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.


• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
