Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a dedicated dialysis technician to provide direct patient care under RN supervision. You will set up and maintain dialysis equipment, monitor patients during treatment, and record vital signs accurately.

Educate patients on treatment and kidney health, while collaborating with nurses and other care team members to ensure safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Accredited high school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred CNA, MA, CHT or phlebotomy certifications.
• Healthcare experience desired but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on dialysis care under RN supervision.
• Set up, operate, and maintain dialysis equipment.
• Monitor patients before, during and after treatment.
• Record vital signs and patient data accurately.
• Educate patients on treatment, kidney health, and safety.

Job description

Provide direct, hands-on care to patients with end-stage renal disease under RN supervision
Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
Record vital signs and patient data
Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members

Requirements

• Accredited high school diploma, GED credential, or equivalent
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
• Willing to float between local clinics if needed
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience
