Job summary

Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Day Shift ER Patient Care Tech (PCT) to join our fast-paced emergency department. The role involves assisting patients with daily activities, monitoring vitals, and supporting nursing staff in a high-volume ER environment.

Responsibilities

• Work under moderate supervision of nursing and medical staff to perform all duties, which include assisting patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs.
• Observe patients’ progress to prepare and disseminate reports to Registered Nurse or other medical staff.
• Obtain and record patients' vital signs and collect specimens for lab tests.
• Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.
• Measure and record patients' intake and output and other measurements in accordance with unit routines, assist patients with range of motion, and draw blood.

Responsibilities

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Completion of approved CNA, PCT or paramedic certification or currently enrolled in nursing school.
• Two (2) years of experience in acute or long-term care.
• Demonstrated proficiency in phlebotomy.
