Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is seeking a Day Shift PCT for the Cushing, OK area. The role includes patient care under supervision, assisting with daily activities, and monitoring vital signs.

The ideal candidate may hold CNA/PCT certification (or be in nursing school) and has BLS, with opportunities to grow in a patient-centered environment that emphasizes teamwork and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Completion of approved CNA, PCT, or paramedic (EMT-P) certification which includes BLS, or currently enrolled in nursing school.

Responsabilités

• Works under moderate supervision of nursing and medical staff to perform all duties of a PCT.
• Assisting patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs.
• Observes patients' progress to prepare and disseminate reports to Registered Nurse or other medical staff.
• Obtains and records patients' vital signs and collects specimens for lab tests.
• Provides basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.
• Measures and records patients' intake and output and other measurements in accordance with unit routines, assists patients with range of motion, and draws blood.
