Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Nursing students with one clinical rotation, or CNA/CMA/EMT.
• CPR – Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Performs basic nursing care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Reports abnormal findings to nursing staff.
• Maintains patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Prioritizes unit work and adapts to changing needs.
• Acts as liaison between patient care units and other departments.
• Answers calls and communicates information to staff/family/patient.
• Manages unit workflow with RN or manager as needed.
• Performs census checks and validates admission/discharge lists as needed.
