Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician - Ortho/Spine at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. This full-time role is 36 hours weekly with a Day Shift from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm, and rotating holidays/weekends.

You will support RNs by performing patient care tasks to ensure comfort and safety. Required CPR certification and CNA training or equivalent, with initial completion of any department-specific Companion Course within six months.

Qualifications

• CPR certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
• Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum six months of patient care experience or completion of one nursing clinical rotation.
• Care Companion Course must be completed within six months of hire if required by the department.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care tasks under the direction of an RN to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Assist with activities of daily living and provide supportive care as needed.
• Follow established procedures and prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
