Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Ortho/Spine unit in Naperville, IL. The role supports the RN with frontline patient care, ensuring comfort and safety for patients across day shifts in a 36-hour weekly schedule.

Responsibilities include performing care tasks under established procedures, collaborating with the care team, and delivering compassionate service in a Magnet-recognized environment. CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or six months of patient care experience or equivalent or completion of one nursing clinical rotation.
• Care Companion Course must be completed within six months of hire when required by the department.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, ability to prioritize, ability to receive and follow through on directions.
