Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Ortho/Spine team at Edward Hospital. This full-time role offers a 36-hour work week and a day shift from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm with rotating holidays and weekends.

Under the supervision of an RN, you will provide essential patient care, support comfort and safety, and help with basic procedures. CPR certification and nursing assistant training or experience are required.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Six months of patient care experience or completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or nursing clinical rotation.
• Successful completion of the care Companion Course within six months if required by the department.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, prioritization, and following directions.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care tasks and procedures under the direction of a Registered Nurse to ensure patient safety, comfort, and well-being.
