UMass Memorial Health seeks a Patient Care Tech III to join the emergency/step-down units. This non-exempt role supports nursing teams, performs vital signs, EKGs, POC testing, phlebotomy in some locations, and helps with patient mobility and daily living activities.

• High school education or GED required.
• Current Basic Life Support certification required.
• Demonstrated English reading/writing ability.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient care under supervision to meet personal needs and comfort.
• Communicate observations clearly to RN regarding patient status.
• Monitor high-risk patients and ensure safety within unit.
• Assist with daily living activities and mobility.
• Perform vital signs, EKGs, POC tests, and specimen prep.
• Support treatments/procedures with proper equipment and sterile technique.
