Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of direct patient care experience; Med/Surg preferred.
• Current Maryland CNA I/II registration and PCT certification; CPR (Heart saver).

Responsibilities

• Provide care, comfort, and safety to assigned patients under nurse supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, feeding, etc.).
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Assist with admission, transfer, discharge and transport of patients.
• Take routine vital signs, weights, glucose checks, and other basic measurements.
• Maintain clean and stocked patient rooms and supplies.
