Job summary

GBMC HealthCare is seeking a Nursing Support staff member to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a nurse. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs, and documenting in electronic medical records.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and current CNA certification. Onsite work at GBMC with opportunities for professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current CNA certification per state nursing board.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under direct supervision of a nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living and routine patient care.
• Record vital signs, weights, and intake/output.
• Observe and report patient condition changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain clean, stocked patient rooms and equipment.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
• Utilize electronic medical records for documentation.
