Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA seeks a Patient Care Technician II to join the care team in the 2 - Evening Shift. The role provides patient care under licensed clinicians, assists with daily living activities, and supports safety and comfort for patients across units.

Responsibilities include measuring vital signs, basic lab tasks, EKGs, and collaboration with RNs and other staff to deliver exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or GED required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Competency in English; ability to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under RN guidance and in keeping with unit standards.
• Record vital signs and monitor patients for changes in condition.
• Assist with daily living activities and ensure patient safety.
• Support procedures and equipment setup; maintain clean, organized care areas.
